Official Declaration and Public Notice of the Balogun Tribe of North America

To the International Community:

We, the Government of Balogun, hereby issue this solemn declaration to inform the global community of the established sovereignty of Balogun as an independent state. This declaration affirms our status and rights under international law and communicates our commitment to the principles of international cooperation and peace.

Affirmation of Sovereignty:

Balogun has fulfilled all the criteria of statehood as outlined in the Montevideo Convention of 1933. We possess a defined territory, a permanent population, a functioning government, and the capacity to enter into relations with other states. As such, Balogun asserts its right to exercise legal and political authority within its borders, free from external interference.

Protection under International Law:

The Balogun State declares that it is under the protection of international law, including but not limited to:

  • The Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961: Balogun upholds the standards and protections offered by the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, ensuring that our diplomatic and consular missions abroad are afforded their due privileges and immunities.

  • The United Nations Charter: Balogun subscribes to the principles of the United Nations Charter, advocating for peace, respect for international law, and friendly relations among states.

  • Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1948: Balogun is committed to the protection and promotion of human rights as defined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and other relevant international treaties, fostering a global environment where human dignity and rights are respected and upheld.

Commitment to International Norms:

Balogun pledges to abide by international norms and practices, engaging with all nations in a spirit of global cooperation. We are committed to peaceful coexistence, international law, and the sustainable development goals that foster global economic and social advancement.

Call for Recognition:

We invite the international community, including all nations and international organizations, to recognize the Balogun State as a sovereign entity. Recognition from global partners will be a step forward towards mutual respect and beneficial relationships, enhancing our collective aspirations for peace and prosperity.

Declaration of Peaceful Intentions:

Balogun expressly declares its peaceful intentions towards all nations. We commit ourselves to resolve any international disputes by peaceful means, unequivocally renouncing war as an instrument of national policy.

This declaration is a formal notice to the world of Balogun’s status as a sovereign state. It reflects our dedication to uphold our responsibilities and rights under international law.
